VINTAGE HAND PAINTED CHINA LITHOPHANE PORCELAIN TEA SET FOR 2. This is an incredible set! It is hand painted and gold gilded. Pictures are of a home by the water along a mountain side, with small foot bridge and a couple of boats in the background, such a serene picture.

It is made of fine porcelain, cups are so thin you can practically see through them. Set consists of 2 cups with a Lithophane Geisha/Girl 2H. Tea cake/Sandwich plates are 7 1/4 W.

Serving Plate (10"W) The Creamer has a Lithophane lotus blossom bud (3"x3) The Sugar bowl with lid. Has a Lithophane lotus blossom just opening (3"x4") The Tea Pot with lid Has a fully opened lotus blossom in the bottom (4 1/2"Hx 5 1/2"W). No chips, cracks, or Crazing and little to no paint loss. A lithophane is an etched or molded artwork in very thin translucent porcelain that can be seen clearly only when back lit with a light source.
