1920s Art Deco Gentleman's Leather Travelling Set With Two Glass Cologne Bottles

  

This is a very elegant gentleman's 1920s tan leather travelling set containing two very attractive cologne or scent glass square shaped bottles with silver tone lids within a high quality leather travelling case. Each scent bottle has a glass stopper in pristine condition and the glass bottles are in lovely condition and have no cracks, discolouration, chips or any other issues. The glass bottles are contained in a high quality tan leather case which is of thick high quality leather with white stitching around all of the edges. The stitching is pristine and there are no issues with loose or missing threads.

For completeness the leather holder has one or two very small watermarks, this is mentioned for completeness only and does not detract from the lovely antique leather casing, please see the photographs of the leather travelling holder. The glass bottles each sit within their own compartment within the travelling box which is leather lined. Again for completeness there is a small watermark to the interior of one of the glass bottle compartments. Each cologne bottle measures 9.5 cm in height including the lid and is 3.5 cm in width. The leather bottle container opens and closes with a front press stud which is in perfect working order and the glass bottles sit securely inside. The dimensions of the leather travelling case are height 11 cm, depth 8.5 cm and width 4.5 cm. This gorgeous travelling set would make a super addition to a collection of high quality 1920's gentleman's travelling items and would also make a gorgeous prop or decorative item. This item has had a previous life and may show signs of wear and tear commensurate with age.
