Vintage Metal Asian Chinese Children Book Scholars Pair of Two 2 Bookends Set

  
This is a nice set of two old vintage metal art sculpture figural bookends (see photos). The items are made of a white metal Spelter with a plated colored Bronze and Brass toned finish (see photos). The items are not marked by a maker (see photos). The items depict Chinese children scholars with books reading (see photos). The items are vintage (see photos) The items are not marked by an artist or maker so I do not know the origin, but I will guess that it is American US in origin (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The tallest bookend in total measures about 9 inches high, it is about 2 and 3/4ths inches wide and it is about 6 and 1/2 inches wide from the flat back side to the end at the base. There is felt on the underside of one bookend (see photos). The item has a dent, some finish wear and finish losses, wear to the metal and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
